As you all know, I have been working on the recall petition for the Mayor of Mandeville, Eddie Price, it is not a secret. This Sunday I returned from a DC, 4 day Soldiers’ Angels trip. On the way home, I decided to tell the group that from this day on, that 100% of my efforts would focus on supporting the troops, instead of recalling the Mayor. I released a statement Sunday evening on my blog about this.

Rodney Boudreaux left me a message on my phone this weekend, but I was focused on Angeling and regrettably ignored the call. It was deeply disturbing to learn today that Rodney’s house had a fire this past Saturday that was under investigation for arson. This is just awful – horrible – disturbing. There are so many emotions running through my head that I am finding it difficult to write this post.

Thank goodness Rodney was not home and that no firefighters or neighbors were injured. At this time, I ask you say a prayer for Rodney, a guy with a heart of gold.

Please call the Mandeville Police Department if you have any tips related to the fire. 624-3119

  1. I understand how Soldiers Angels is dear to your heart, and it sounds like Price’s people are desperate to stop the recall effort, and how good sense would say you should back off of it or you might experience the same thing. But do you really want to live in a town run by thugs that would do something like that.

Maybe change the 100% to 75%?

And is there any thing I can do to help the recall effort from Tulsa?

  2. I agree. I doubt he ordered it, but I would call the ones that did it thugs and not fans.

But do you want to live in a town led by a crook that has thugs / fans / supporters / whatever you call them that are that desperate to keep him in office that they would do something like that?

And is there any thing I can do to help the recall effort from Tulsa?

  3. Oh my gosh. That is a horrible thing to happen. Please be careful! You are very good at what you do and the guys on the other side might see you as a threat. If there is anything we can do please don’t hesitate to ask.
