The National WWII Museum in New Orleans, has launched a fabulous effort to make it easy for YOU to thank veterans for their service. The campaign website is here and Veterans Day is November 11th. From the website:

Our goal is to garner 1 million Thank Yous for our veterans. Add your voice by submitting a story, photo or video. It can even be as simple spreading the word via Facebook and Twitter. Help us show our veterans that their service and sacrifice is appreciated.

I bet you want to know how you can help be a part of this movement? Easy! Stop on over to the website, leave a picture, a video, a message or Tweet your thanks. You can even see the messages already left by others. Help spread the word and get everyone you know involved by sharing it on Facebook or sending an e-cards (through the website). Would be fabulous to see this message tweeted repeatedly on #MilitaryMon. Just tweet from the website and add the hashtag #MilitaryMon on the end or do it on your own and also add the hashtag #TY4MF

Tell everyone you know – help make this viral! Come on America – this should not be that hard – just a simple thanks and it often means more than you will ever know!

***The fabulous picture was created for me as part of a comic strip by the super military cartoon artist, Damon Shackelford of Delta Bravo Sierra. Check him out and “like” him on Facebook too.
***This campaign is not to be confused with the website effort to send mail to the troops called A Million Thanks
