Patrick : Greta, I am also concerned abou the events of the last couple of days. Here's to hoping and expecting that our criminal justice system works!!
Guest_2164 : Greta, Mandeville was great this past week and the weather was perfect. I am heading back to Chicago after a quick stop in Vail so it is time for me to start bundling up!!! I took a look at your blog and it looks cool and I like the name! I saw you are on Twitter, I just joined about a month ago and I love it. Take care and I hope you have a great week.
dondon : By the way, that is one great looking cake!! Good job to your son. I didn't want to use his name, but tell him that Andrew and I think this is so cool!!!!
dondon : Another great show!!! I was going to call but it sounded like you had more callers than you could get to!! Way to go girl!! I think all of your guests did a great job, but there was one that tried to take more than her share of air time?? Luckily, you and Peter were on top of things and kept it pretty fair!! Have fun next week in D.C.!!
dondon : Never mind. I found the link to Toby's book. It looks awesome!
dondon : I love your blog. I will be checking it more frequently because you are a hoot and you know what's goin' on girl!! You are a wealth of knowledge. The main reason I signed on today was to order the soldier's book. I don't see it. Maybe I am blind, but if you removed the link, put it back up or tell me the name again.
Zabitatz : Tell all your tacky friends they could win a lot of cash by entering Zabby's Wacky Tacky Home Design Disasters!
Nappy : FORWARDAHOLICS, somehow I got this via Plaxo, great write up!
Guest_1183 : just wanted to thank you for the recommendment for John Meeker II. He completed a difficult job for me on a Sat. and did a great job for a very good price. I will use him in the future and would recommend him to anyone for not only plumbing but other home repair work.
Guest_3942 : Also, anything referring to recal petition being deleted as well
Guest_4879 : Well, looks like the Mandeville forum moderator has returned to his post - all politics related posts are being deleted as fast as they are written!
mamadrama : Holy Shit ... mat just gave me a laundry list of what you have been up to ... do you sleep. he also told me that you had to evacuate. So sorry, honey. i am sure that the warm weather and kind folks are worth every box you pack. i am so happy to here that you are doing so well, and that you are so happy. I will continue to check your blogs from now through November to see what you think of the Pres. race. I am such a fence rider and at this time really have not found the candidates that ins
Nappy Rash : We've been watching it on the news, so glad this morning that the storm hasn't been as bad as it could be, what a relief!
S : I'm not going anywhere I'm not playing that game again
Guest_3239 : Gretta, Friends of LPB is doing this LSU Band/Homecoming Auction for a tailgate package. Worth a mention for your tiger fans out there.
Diaper Dad : I was just reading about the spray painting thing, we have the same in the UK. A camera to catch speeders then one set higher up to catch the people attacking the cameras.
Guest_4969 : Seems the posts from the last couple of days are staying on forum. Maybe they had lots of complaints so quit deleting?
Guest_2292 : Thanks. You do a very ggod service for the community. TIme will show this to be true. Its just that there is an undercurrent of menace which silences . Not good at all.
Greta : no idea about NOLA.com just collect smal paycheck every month
Guest_2292 : ANd I will follow that up with another q: Is this code at a site in NEw Orleans, at the home company's headquarters?
Guest_2292 : Have a general question for you. A quickly deleted message about Nola.com site being corrupted made me wonder: If someone was able to obtin the code, 1) would they be able to view all the email addresses and info on the posters? IE, what beyond the power to delete does code access allow?
S : Could we get Mr Price on your radio show possibly?
Guest_1578 : Butch Porte" lawyer many years ago was Howard Fussell - ring a bell - Jones and Fussell. Howard is now passed. A good friend of his was Ronnie Mentel, he owned an large electrical firm in NO and had tons of money and close friends with Lambert. Butch never would have had the money to start all those shopping malls on his own. Ronnie Hand the lawyer was also big player along with "Cuddlwes McClain (real estate) and believe me Gus Schultz and some of his dealings I would check into John Pierce
S : I would like to know where these fees come from for the mandeville schools, my child had $54 in "fees" - since when do I pay a teacher appreciation fee??
Greta : @mjhisschool Not sure what you are talking about - I think it is a great school and my son will be going there.
mjhiscool : I was not a cheerleader or OR a sports freak, and I ahd a great time. . . we all have our opinions, and it hurts my feelings that you would announce yours online.
mjhiscool : I went to mjh last year and it was awesome! I would appreciate it if you didn't bag on my school.
Guest_2717 : Just got back from Rosemary Beach, next to Seaside, and got stung by a jellyfish VERY bad on the back of my legs. Other than that I had a great time!!!
Bamagirl : Isabella's Pizzeria II is on the other end from Izumi's. Oh man, everything I've tried there has been soooo good! The south west chicken wrap made two meals for me. The pizza has fast become our favorite. While the inside is a nice place to relax, I adore that they deliver.
Bamagirl : Izumi's is wonderful! If you like Japanese food they do it well. Prices aren't bad either
Bamagirl : Thought I'd pass along two places we've enjoyed lately.
S : I know you went to blue bayou/dixie landing earlier this summer...was it good? we're going next week...usually do gulf island but the kiddos want to do the roller coasters
Kazelbrd : Hi webmaster!

Mad Mike : I tried to email you to no avail. Plz eme as alot of cooks would like to do another chili cookoff for the troops!madmike@c hilict.com
Greta : Guest 2352 I've donenothing but expressed the outrage everyone else has in writing. At least I am not afraid to stand for what I believe.
Guest_2352 : this is not a threat - this is a TRUE warning - be careful who you piss off around here and who you talk bad about b/c St Tammany really is very mayberry in many ways, so just be careful
Guest_4958 : Mandeville was a great place before Eddie Price and will be a great place after him because of the character of the people who live here. Show me one place where politicians have made life better. They can only make things worse. I hate the "after me therefor because of me" mentality of politicians. Most of the time the truth is "after me, despite me."
Guest_889 : I feel particularly connected to you. NOLA is my second home, discovered after three years as a Katrina volunteer -- I travel, with a group of 100+ students from Centenary College in NJ each January, to help with the rebuilding effort. But the closer connection has been my friendship with Zach Gibbon, Debra Gibbon's incredible oldest son. I met him somewhat accidentally, having been "assigned" him as my personal trainer at a gym in Hackettston, NJ. I had been a Red Cross volunteer at Ground
Deborrah : I talk about crazy dating relationships in my book Sucka Free Love and would be happy to be a guest. Greta!
Greta : Guest 40 - Quite contraire - but hey - I try and I sign my name to everything and not drop in as an anonymous guest!
Greta : Baileigh Levee - keep cheering for Mayor Price - he needs people like you! You must be a good friend!
Guest_40 : she's lived here for a year and a half and thinks she's already an expert on the whole new orleans area - she hasn't gotten a clue
Baileigh Levee : To Greta, It is so sad that you believe you should sit in judgement. Eddie Price, as well as his family, are some of the finest people I have ever met. When I first came to Mandeville I fell in love with the city, and I think that is large in part to the works of Mayor Price. I think it is such a shame that people in this day will read articles and a believe it to be the absolute truth. The truth is it was a mistake, and guess what everyone is allowed those in life. I hope that one day yo
Guest_1464 : I eat at country kitchen today wow great food!!!
Guest_561 : I fail to see what someones cutural background has to do with their cooking skills. It's to bad guest 3347 that you didn't like your meal. But the point of this website is to focus on the positive and not be negitive.
Guest_3347 : It's an englishman cooking italian - come on!
Guest_2179 : My family made 4 and 1/2 servings of the Chicken Rigatoni this week from the Hungry Forager. Best Pasta we've had in a long time.
Guest_405 : yes, crocs are hideous, but for people with things like heel spurs, they are a godsend - swore I never'd wear them, but now the spur is GONE!
Guest_1810 : getting ready to move to mandeville and am looking for a place to hang any help wife and i need a new bar
Guest_3279 : Don't stop cheering for LSU...your other kids can go there free with a TOPS scholarship...as long as they keep their GPA up (and if it's still around then.
S : yup! my grandmother was cute at 80 - I've seen your pic - you're still cute!
Greta : Can I still be cute when I hit 40 next year?
S : Greta don't feel bad I'm five foot and half an inch and noone can ever say short people aren't cute!
Greta : why do people read into stuff like that - dang!
me Greta : Oh please 4803. I was jsut looking for a dress. If I were a size 20 I would have written that. I am 5 ft tall fercryingoutloud !
Guest_4803 : How come in your hannah blog you told us you are a size 6 to 8? why was that necessary? You sounded like you were bragging, and are going to make large ladies feel bad.
You absolutely can !!!! Never doubt it. People have power to change the state of affairs they may have been accepting of, believing they had no power. People have to be informed of the facts, pushed into action as a united force & encouraged politicians work for them, & most definitely they have a voice that will get heard if they demand it.

Sure. You’ll win; but they’ll just ignore that inconvenient fact. Ask the firefighters.
