Go figure. I drive 4 plus hours to evacuate to Crystal Springs, MO and we are in the dark already. Grrrrr

It only took me 4 hours to make a 3 hour ride. I must give all the people involved in the evacuation efforts - big kudos. I took 190 to the I-12. I-12 was smooth sailing and then I hit I-55 due North. The contraflow worked nicely!!! Woot woot for good planning!!! Hunkered down with [...]

Getting ready to evacuate

Working on the outside now and it is a bit toasty out! Getting the car ready, the garage situated so we can bring all the patio stuff inside it and/or maybe a car. Husband just went to the dump to unload the trailer full of tree branches that would soon be all over the neighborhood!
