Greetings!

I found your blog through Conservative Belle's blogroll and saw your comment about taxes.

I've always had a problem with the income tax on a number of different levels. From how much personal information the government has on people through their tax returns, to the way that it "targets" specific groups and taxes them more or less depending on if they belong to that group. To the fact that we spend as much on administering the income tax (is there such a thing as a income tax industrial complex?) as the government actually collects in taxes.

Anyway, you dream about the fairtax (which I would support if it would do away with the IRS) but ideally, I would like to see it replaced with nothing. Which, depending on who you talk to, could be done if we went back to spending levels of 8-15 years ago.

Well, thanks for reminding me of how much I paid last year, and how I'm STILL working for the government to pay this year's tax bill. I hope your happy! lol
