This is a really cool concept. This weekend, the Slidell Cultural Center will host an open-house style night evening to welcome back folks who were raised in Slidell and went on to make a name for themselves. My pal – John Doherty – who made the beautiful fleur de lis pendant I can often be seen wearing and also sell on my blog will be there!
Mark your calendars: Friday 7-9 from 7-9. Did I mention that admission is free? It will be hosted at the Slidell Cultural Art Center 1827 Front Street , temporarily operating in the Slidell Art League Gallery, on the second floor of the historic train depot.
