My dear friend Tammy, from Charlotte County Florida, has a 3 year Hurricane Charley anniversary post up that should be visited!!! Natural disasters can happen at any given time. The pictures taken by her husband Ben, are pretty spectacular.

My BFF Jen lives in Port Charlotte and I was there in Nov. 05 after Katrina and it was looking much better. Still some signs of damage but they did a good job of fixing things up. Going back there in 2 weeks!
