Did I break a story?
After I posted my brilliant piece yesterday of “possible” National breaking news, regarding the eroding levee picture that is all the rage these days, the hamster kept running. This morning I went back to National Geographic and looked at the famous picture in its’ interactive option. When you zoom out,you see a boat in the background. I’m not sure, but isn’t a levee on one side only? Is it possible that the picture is of the “borrow pit” and not the actual levee itself?
Why the heck do I care? Well, because we all know that negative news gets so much mileage and positive news gets the back page. Give me an “Oh Tartar Sauce,” this gal could be right – maybe…
